Clothing

Dress in Layers

To ensure your comfort, we suggest you wear layers of clothing while you are out on the lake, from cotton undershirts to long-sleeved thermals that you can take on and off with ease. Insulated clothing and regular fishing attire will suit you just fine, but a good set of 100% waterproof raingear is recommended. If you do not own waterproof gear, don’t worry; just bring extra layers to ensure you stay warm. You might also consider waterproof shoes and/or waterproof boots.

Personal Items

Personal Items

Consider your camera essential. You’ll be surrounded by incredible scenery and wildlife, not to mention all your trophy fish. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent, such as Muskol or Repel. Double-check that you’ve packed all your toiletries and medications. By the end of June the water might even be warm enough to jump in, so you may want to bring your swim suit along. We also suggest packing your belongings in a waterproof duffel bag; this way you can bring the duffel bag on your one-day fly-out trips to transport anything personal you might want to take a long. And don’t forget your sunglasses!

Fishing Gear

Fishing Gear

Please remember all hooks are to be single barbless or treble barbless. We have rods, reels and tackle for use, and a great selection of fishing lures, leaders and line for sale in our tackle shop. Our guides are happy to offer advice on gear that will entice the trophy fish you’re after! No need to worry about a fishing license. We’ll arrange the paperwork and have it ready for you upon arrival.
